You're invited to join the February meeting of Twin County Democracy. Our monthly meeting will occur on Wednesday February 13, 6:00 -- 7:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 516 North Church Street, Rocky Mount, 27804.
We're making exciting progress on the effort to pass a local resolution against big money in politics spurred on by outreach and letters to the editor done by advocates just like yourself. See some great examples here, here, and here!
There is more work to be done raising awareness about an energy rate hike hearing that could affect many folks in the area, and work to be done on issues affecting the whole state with the General Assembly recently convening for their 2013 legislative session.
Come to the meeting to get informed and learn to speak out on these and other important issues!
