Recent Email from Thom Tillis,

It's a fact that Kay Hagan continues to benefit from millions of dollars in spending by liberals like Harry Reid, Michael Bloomberg, and George Soros. They're supporting her - and attacking me - for one reason: as part of a desperate attempt to protect Barack Obama's extreme liberal agenda in Washington.

The good news is we're fighting back with a bold, conservative agenda and the support of thousands of grassroots North Carolinians. We set aggressive fundraising goals for each month, and as of this morning, we're just over $5,000 short of our online fundraising goal for the month of July. Help push us over the finish line by making a contribution of $35 or more here.

We won't ever match the millions in out-of-state special interest money being funnelled to Kay Hagan's campaign, but your grassroots contributions will give me the resources to get our message to every supporter and undecided voter between now and Election Day.

Thanks for your support,

Thom

Really Thom, how about the money you are getting form the Koch Brothers and others who are destroying this country? Who wants to take us back to the days of Jim Crow.

Kay may not be perfect, but she is a better choice than you any day of the week..

Thom Tillis will Miss the return of #MoralMonday today

you are wondering why the Speaker of the NC House is not in Raleigh running the NC House session today, here's your answer. He'll be in Washington, DC raising money from DC lobbyists.

From the NewsObserver,

No votes are expected Monday, but the conflict exemplifies the challenge Tillis will face this session as he tries to raise the millions needed to be competitive against Democratic incumbent Kay Hagan and run the House chamber.

Tillis has refused to relinquish his post despite calls to do so from Republicans and Democrats.

It’s the second time Tillis will miss a day of session to attend a fundraiser at the offices of the association – a major lobbying player on Capitol Hill. In July, just weeks into his campaign, Tillis skipped a debate on a sweeping tax bill and a contentious gun resolution to attend an event at the same place.

Jordan Shaw, Tillis’ campaign manager, emphasized that many lawmakers will not attend the session because no votes are being taken.

How nice Getting paid by NC to attend a Funds Raiser in DC…

Tillis Victory Speech Ad.. Will Tillis cost NC bigtime??

The ad is apparently filmed at Thom Tillis’ victory party. With Tillis giving his acceptance speech in the background, a skeptical-looking young woman whispers into the camera, “Thom Tillis says he’s up there for you but he’ll cost North Carolina families–big time.”

Pac going after Tillis

"Thom Tillis shared an apartment with his chief of staff when North Carolina news reported that the chief of staff was having an extramarital affair with a lobbyist and was caught on camera and resigned," the ad begins. "Then, one week later, another Tillis staffer resigns for another sexual relationship with a lobbyist. Thom Tillis' reaction? He claimed he was surprised by his roommate's affair but then rewarded both aides with taxpayer-paid bonuses. Thom Tillis: Spending our money to clean up his mess."

What is Ellmer afraid of? Why not go on the Record.

1491730_10202673522668820_425570054_nWhy did Renee Ellmer decline to on the Record with David Crabtree and Laura Leslie? We may never know why, but it safe to say that she has something up her sleeve.. However, her challenger for the 2nd district did on the record, Frank Roche sat down with David and Laura.

Click here to see the interview,

from Wral.com.

Thom Tillis need to get a clue..

tillis-right-hereFrom Thom’s Facebook page,

Kay Hagan refuses to say no to the President. Today, despite several of her Democratic colleagues abandoning Obama, Kay Hagan voted to confirm one of his nominees to the Department of Justice who was a vocal advocate for a convicted cop killer. This is reprehensible and a clear sign that North Carolina needs a new Senator.

Yes, we might need a new Senator, yes Kay has made some huge mistakes, however at least she doesn’t that we should do away with a minimum wage for workers, and she not in the pockets of ALEC or POPE..

Thom voted to restrict voting rights for all NC citizens. restrict a women rights to Abortions. He voted yes to Repeal the Racial justice Act. Voted to Prohibit Medicaid Expansion.

Since 2011-2014 going by Ballopedia Tillis hasn’t been appointed to any standing committee.

Let’s not forget how he feels about Moral Monday’s

"Moral Mondays" are for whining losers who oppose GOP agenda. (Dec 2013)

So just who does Thom Tillis Serve??? It surely isn’t the citizens of NC

Tillis has not been getting a lot of great press lately:

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/...

It was that pressure that brought him to Charlotte last month for a fundraiser at Myers Park Country Club. While he was on the road to Charlotte, the House he presides over was vigorously debating an abortion-related bill.

Besides missing important House business, Tillis’ moonlighting has the look of the pay-to-play politics that Republicans decried among Democrats for so long. A superPAC for Tillis raised $70,000 from George A. Sywassink, R. Doyle Parrish and W.G. Champion Mitchell, newly released records show. Tillis’ House named all three to the UNC Board of Governors recently, including Sywassink after declaring there had been a vote-tallying error the first time around.

State law bars legislators from raising money from lobbyists during the legislative session, but the ban doesn’t apply to federal candidates like Tillis. So he can attend a fundraiser hosted by Royce Everette, a major consumer finance lender, days after the legislature approved a bill raising interest rates and fees for Everette’s industry.

He has shown he can’t give his undivided attention to the N.C. House and the U.S. Senate at the same time. He should give up his Speaker’s gavel, resign from his House seat and give his full energy to his Senate bid, unencumbered by such distractions as running the state. - Charlotte Observer, 7/18/13

So it's no wonder analysts would consider Tillis a weak candidate.  But as vulnerable of a candidate Tillis might be, he will still be heavily finance by Pope, ALEC, the Koch Brothers and every other right-wing Super PAC.  The GOP wants Hagan's seat and they'll spend big to lie and distort her image.  But while Tillis is off focusing on a higher office, Hagan is looking out for homeless veterans:

Politics in Charlotte getting right down Ugly

DOC: Gary Dunn email to black political caucus

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

On Wednesday night, one candidate is trying to explain himself after calling his competitor the black, gay candidate.
Eyewitness News has the details from a controversial email.
The letter was written to the black political caucus by a Democratic mayoral candidate, Gary Dunn.
In the letter, Dunn thanked the caucus for inviting him to a political meet and greet.
But then he said, “Maybe I got this wrong, but you should know that I am not the black gay candidate Patrick Cannon, I am the white guy.”

He went on to say that he hopes the black political caucus is not a “white racist group that would vote for only a black candidate.”
Eyewitness News spoke with Dunn on the phone Wednesday night, and he said he is not a bigot, but he said no one should vote based on race or sexual orientation.
"I would fight for every black person on the street. I would fight for every homosexual. I would go out there and kill for them to make sure they got equal rights," said Dunn.
The man he called the black, gay candidate is Mayor Pro Tem Patrick Cannon.
On Wednesday night, he said he is not gay.
He called Dunn’s statements unfortunate.
"It saddens me that someone running for public office would demonstrate such divisive behavior using inflammatory language, especially untruths to attack a family man like myself," said Cannon.
Cannon has served on Charlotte City Council since 1993.
He said after Dunn’s statements, his supporters are more energized than ever.
Cannon and Dunn are among four Democrats facing off in a Sept. 10 primary

Brian Brown still Claim Americans are still in Favor of one man and one woman marriage.

430706_10151076462101594_214290641_nNational Organization for Marriage is having a very bad week. The anti-marriage equality organization poured funds and resources into all four states with same-sex marriage ballot measures - and lost every one fucking one of them.

"Our opponents and some in the media will attempt to portray the election results as a changing point in how Americans view gay marriage, but that is not the case. Americans remain strongly in favor of marriage as the union of one man and one woman." - Brian Brown, president of the National Organization for Marriage.

Its time to face the music Brian.. Gay Marriage is now and its growing.. while groups like your are dying..  Don’t leave mad, JUST LEAVE.

Ann Coulter on the Election,

anncoulterhs"If Mitt Romney cannot win in this economy, then the tipping point has been reached. We have more takers than makers and it’s over. There is no hope.  Mitt Romney was the president we needed right now, and I think it is so sad that we are going to be deprived of his brain power, of his skills in turning companies around, turning the Olympics around, his kindness for being able to push conservative ideas on a country that no longer is interested in conservative ideas. It is interested in handouts." - Ann Coulter,

Please Bitch.. get a fucking clue.. better yet go have your roots done..
