Brian Brown still Claim Americans are still in Favor of one man and one woman marriage.
National Organization for Marriage is having a very bad week. The anti-marriage equality organization poured funds and resources into all four states with same-sex marriage ballot measures - and lost every one fucking one of them.
"Our opponents and some in the media will attempt to portray the election results as a changing point in how Americans view gay marriage, but that is not the case. Americans remain strongly in favor of marriage as the union of one man and one woman." - Brian Brown, president of the National Organization for Marriage.
Its time to face the music Brian.. Gay Marriage is now and its growing.. while groups like your are dying.. Don’t leave mad, JUST LEAVE.

Brian Brown full of crap as usual.
Brain Obama doesn’t have the sole power to change or rewrite our Constitution.. You damn dumb ass..
"In just 10 days, you can change history. You could wake up the morning after the election to watch the shocked expression on the faces of all the pundits, the politicians, the out of control judges, and see the headlines: HISTORIC NATIONAL VICTORY FOR MARRIAGE! Just 10 days until the polls close, when America will choose. The future of our country—and also the future of marriage—could be decided for generations to come. Nationally, Americans will choose between Mitt Romney, a pro-marriage candidate for President who will defend DOMA and appoint judges that respect our Constitutional values; or the openly pro-gay marriage incumbent, Barack Obama, who has surreptitiously undermined the legal defense of marriage for four years and who, if he gets a second term, will have the power to position a fifth vote on the Supreme Court to invent a right to gay marriage and insert it in our founding document." - Hate group leader Brian Brown

NOM is Pissed. they must release records
Today the Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal from a national anti-gay marriage group that tried to thwart Maine’s campaign disclosure law requiring it to release its donor list.
The high court on Monday turned aside an appeal from the National Organization for Marriage, which donated $1.9 million to a political action committee that helped repeal Maine’s same-sex marriage law. Maine’s campaign disclosure law requires groups that raise or spend more than $5,000 to influence elections to register and disclose their donors. The group says that it believes that releasing the donor list would stymie free speech, but the lower court refused to throw out the law.
Ok, Brian and Maggie where are those records.. Release them Now, since you have no more courts to run to..

A Bit of this and a Bit of that
Well it would seem that someone has pissed in Brian Brown, (head of NOM) Coffee sometime this week. It would seem that HRC has some tax returns from NOM with a list of their donors..
Brown, personal take:
It appears that someone with either the IRS or the HRC may have committed a federal crime by illegally obtaining and then releasing a confidential tax return of the National Organization for Marriage.
It's clear that the tax return was stolen, either from NOM or from the government. The Huffington Post article says that HRC claimed they received the document from a ‘whistleblower.' But the term ‘whistleblower' is completely inapt. We're talking about a criminal who has stolen confidential tax return information. We demand to know who this criminal is, whether they work for the HRC or the IRS, and how they obtained confidential tax information filed only with the US government."
I would like to know what the HRC knew and when did they know it. It certainly appears that either the HRC was involved in illegally obtaining this tax return themselves, or they worked with a criminal who stole it from NOM or the IRS. Either way, it appears that a federal crime may have been committed
in the very stupid files,
Green tea and Olympic doping: "Olympic doping officials are considering whether to tweak their tests after a recent British study showed green tea might hide testosterone from the standard test used to spot it."
Now she is so sorry for it. Bitch Please.. Mary J Blige full of shit
Mary J. Blige is sorry for participating in a controversial Burger King ad.
“I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that's not what was happening in that clip.
I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out."
And at home here in NC in the matters of Amendment 1 it would seem that our fundies have billboards up Supporting Amendment 1.
Advocate, Bitch Please,

Maggie Gallagher on Starbucks support for Marriage Equality
"Starbucks has voluntarily decided -- as a corporation -- to associate its brand with a major political issue, the CEO just confirmed. I was in the room. I heard him. Customers across the world have a right to know that contrary to the promises made by the corporation in the Middle East and elsewhere, Starbucks does subsidize political causes. Drinking a cup of Starbucks coffee, sadly, means supporting gay marriage. Speak out, and stop being invisible to powerful men like Schultz. The business of America may or may not be business, but the business of corporations is to make an honest profit by serving all their customers well, both those who favor and those who oppose gay marriage." - Maggie Gallagher

Brian Brown second begging for money email of the day
Tuesday, February 14, 2012
Dear Marriage Supporter,
The deadline for our week-long Prop 8 Legal Defense Fund campaign is just six hours away. The outpouring of support has been truly amazing—since I emailed you yesterday, we have raised over $20,000 more!
But we can't stop now!
In these last few hours, we still have a ways to go to reach out goal of raising $100,000 to fund the Prop 8 appeal to the Supreme Court.
Please, Marriage Supporter, don't let the nation's most liberal court have the final say.
This case must be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. We simply cannot afford to let Judge Reinhardt—one of the most overturned judges in the country—have the final say on marriage and Prop 8.
Marriage Supporter, we need your help. This case will be a landmark ruling on marriage, one way or the other—either we will preserve marriage and the rights of 7 million California voters, or every marriage law in the nation will be jeopardized by an out-of-control judiciary.
We can win this case. We can win at the Supreme Court. But we have to provide the resources to mount the best legal defense possible.
If you have already given, I would ask you to consider making one more gift to the NOM Legal Defense Fund.
If you haven't given yet, please consider making a gift of any amount to stand with us in defense of marriage.
Please do what you can in these final hours. Almost all of us can give something. Maybe it's $10, or maybe it's $100. Someone reading this email may be in a position to give $10,000 to help send Prop 8 to the Supreme Court. If each of us were to step up and give just $10, we would surpass our goal many times over.
Your contributions are confidential and tax-deductible—and every penny will go directly to the legal defense of Proposition 8.
I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done to help us stand up in defense of marriage.
Sincerely,

Brian Brown and John Eastman is Pissed over Prop8 ruling.
Brian Brown:
“As sweeping and wrong-headed as this decision is, it nonetheless was as predictable as the outcome of a Harlem Globetrotters exhibition game,” said Brian Brown, NOM’s president. “We have anticipated this outcome since the moment San Francisco Judge Vaughn Walker’s first hearing in the case. Now we have the field cleared to take this issue to the US Supreme Court, where we have every confidence we will prevail.”John Eastman, the chairman of NOM:
“Never before has a federal appeals court – or any federal court for that matter – found a right to gay marriage under the US Constitution,” said constitutional scholar John Eastman, who is chairman of NOM. “The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is the most overturned circuit in the country, and Judge Stephen Reinhardt, the author of today’s absurd ruling is the most overturned federal judge in America. Today’s ruling is a perfect setup for this case to be taken by the US Supreme Court, where I am confident it will be reversed. This issue is the Roe v Wade of the current generation, and I sincerely doubt the Court has the stomach for preempting the policy judgments of the states on such a contentious matter, knowing the lingering harm it caused by that ruling.”
They may be piss, but not to proud to beg for money.. yes I got an email within 30min after the ruling asking for fund to take this to the Supreme Court ..
from Brian Brown email,
In the next week, we need to raise at least $100,000 online to immediately assist with the appeal to the Supreme Court.
Your donation is tax-deductible and will be kept confidential. Whether you can give $10,000, $1,000, $100 or $10, we need your help today! Every penny you give will go directly toward the Prop 8 legal expenses.
This is it. This is the whole ball game. If we lose here, the laws in 44 states defending marriage will crumble and we CANNOT let that happen!
I still have to wonder what will the nc fundies and Brain Brown do if the people of nc Vote don’t Amendment 1 at the polls, marking the first southern state to say no writing hate into our State Constitution..

The Fight over Amendment 1 (gay marriage) as began in NC
Vote FOR Marriage NC is comprised of a multitude of policy organizations, denominations, and civic groups. Its Executive Committee consists of the Christian Action League, NC Values Coalition, a coalition of African American pastors, NC Baptists, and the National Organization for Marriage (NOM).
Yes the NC Values have launch their Marriage Websites, and are getting ready to start their campaign of lies and hate..
My Question is? Is our pro-marriage equality groups Ready???
Tuesday, December 13, 2011
O My, get your hanky, NOM Funds are down.. They need help deciding which fight to stop fighting..
It seem the NOM banks accounts are getting low. All that spending, lawyer fees and fines, trains, planes and limos are racking up. This is my Christmas wish, that NOM files for bankruptcy for Christmas.

Dear Marriage Supporter,
Please help us overcome a looming shortfall!
Increasingly virulent and frequent attacks from the same-sex marriage lobby have depleted our emergency funds, and we need your help!
As 2011 draws to a close, everyone at the National Organization for Marriage is excited about the election year ahead, which we believe will be full of huge victories for traditional marriage.
But the problem is NOM does not have the funds to accomplish everything we need to do...we are facing a budget shortfall at the exact wrong time.
We're in a position to overcome our financial shortcomings because a generous donor has stepped up with a pledge to match every gift between now and the end of the year up to $1 million. Your gift of $50 instantly becomes $100. A gift of $500 is worth $1000 to help protect marriage in 2012!
But if I don't have the resources, what should I do?
· Should I abandon a state like Maryland, New Jersey or Rhode Island, where marriage is under fire?
· Should I scale back our efforts to repeal same-sex marriage in a state like Iowa, New Hampshire or New York?
· Should I stop our Washington-based lobbying efforts to protect the Defense of Marriage Act (there is new legislation to repeal DOMA) and just hope for the best?
· Should I scale back our plans for the presidential election, letting President Obama off the hook for the lies he will tell on the campaign trail?
Obviously, I don't want to do any of that!
We have a plan to fight against the anti-marriage bullies in Washington, in the courts, and in all 50 states, but my sources tell me that the radical same-sex marriage lobby will be launching several new and powerful attacks against marriage in 2012, so this is exactly the wrong time for us to have to scale back.
So please—right now—make the most generous year-end gift you can afford to NOM of $25, $50, $100, $500 or more so we can close our budget shortfall.
Thank you in advance. (link removed)
Sincerely,

But heading into the all-important 2012 election year, NOM is facing a budget shortfall, so I am counting on your urgent help.
So please make one secure online donation to the National Organization for Marriage today. (link removed)
Thank you and God bless you!

NOM will never give up their Donors..
Via Queerty.com
The so-called National Organization for Marriage has unsuccessfully challenged campaign finance disclosure laws in Maine, Minnesota, New York, California, Rhode Island, and Iowa. And in every case they still have not disclosed so much as a single name. Why? Because the court rulings don’t really matter since they offer no criminal penalty for non-compliance as of yet.
If and when NOM decides or is force to give up these lists. I bet anything the names and companies on their list will shock us.. I have to wonder just who these folks are too.
What would happen if we found out that many NOM donors are also LGBT donors?? Allies, and LGBT friendly companies… By giving to both sides they are protecting here bottom line…

Just How stupid is Brian Brown???
The National Organization for Marriage (NOM) can’t be too happy about how its president, Brian Brown, performed during an interview on MSNBC Live today. While touting his organization’s recently-released presidential marriage pledge, Brown faced a pretty tough grilling from MSNBC host Thomas Roberts:
Just have to laugh at Brian on this one… Click here read more,

Sen. Ruben Diaz, will try to get NY’s SSM Annulled..
Sen. Ruben Diaz promised to annul all of New York's same-sex marriages
Thousands of protesters rallied in several cities around the state, a signal that the long fight for recognition may not be over just yet. State Sen. Ruben Diaz, a minister who was the sole Democrat to vote against gay marriage when the Legislature approved it, told a crowd near the United Nations that he and other opponents would try to get Sunday’s marriages annulled, saying judges broke the law by waiving the 24-hour waiting period without a good reason. “We’re going to show them next week that everything they did today was illegal,” he said, speaking in Spanish.
Talking about a sore loser, I bet his law suit will be backed by NOM..

Maggie Gallagher on SSM vs. Interracial Marriage
“Gay marriage elites are saying there is no possible reason to oppose gay marriage except bigotry, and that opposition to gay marriage is like opposition to interracial marriage. Gay right activists, who feel a shared sense of discrimination with African Americans are responding by heaping hatred on anyone who stands up for [traditional] marriage. The idea that America could be a country in which it is considered hateful or ugly to say ‘to make a marriage you need a husband and wife, because kids long for a mom and a dad’ … I will not volunteer to live in that country.”
Maggie, Maggie please get back on your meds, do now before you blow a gasket. For Maggie I bet your counter partners back in the day said the Same about interracial marriages, that its was God will to keep the races apart, and that he did this by language and location.
The times are changing, so either get with the program or keep your over sized bigotry at home where it belongs.
NOM send mailer
NOM’s mailers compare the senators to Benedict Arnold, another New Yorker from history who sold his principles for cash. Gen. Benedict Arnold received 6,000 British Pounds Sterling for plotting to surrender Fort West Point to the British.
The mailers also remind voters of key facts about the Senators. For example:
· Senator Mark Grisanti ran for office on a traditional marriage platform, and solicited and accepted a $4,000 campaign contribution from NOM.
· Senator James Alesi has said publicly, “It’s not our job to be moral.”
· Senator Carl Kruger, who is under indictment for allegedly taking $1 million in bribes in exchange for political favors, said of his vote, “What we are about to do is redefine what the American family is.”
Nom is just piss, Cause NY voted to allow SSM to happen, which Start on 7/24/2011, right after midnight..

NOM Rabbi Blames Gay Marriage For 8 Year Old’s Murder
“Why was this [death of Kletzky] allowed to happen? Let’s think about it. If we go back to the cause, the effect was he was the victim, but the cause was a Jew [Yiddish] that the evil will come to destroy you within your midst. [...] For too long we have been turning our cheek, we have been turning away and ignoring the agenda of the descendants of Amalek [evil] — first they [Gay's] wanted rights, then they wanted adoption, they wanted special protections, and ultimately they wanted marriage — and we all know that we did precious little. If those three or fourth thousand people [who searched for the boy when we went missing], at the direction of the greater Israel and their leaders and their common sense, would have come out, maybe, against the marriage, against this final nail in the coffin of morality…maybe we wouldn’t have had to had this episode of Amalek [evil] replay itself. This is a time for introspection…This came in the very aftermath of the marriage bill, my dear friends, and not doing anything.”
Watch it (around 7:00):
Rabbi Yehuda Levin must have forgot his history lessons. I wonder if NOM was around with Hitler was killing Jews, Gays and others what, who would have NOM Blame for it all..
Yehuda, must have forgotten that it wasn’t jus the Jews who were, being gun down, gassed, and burn in those camps, and kettles of the Nazis. For a Rabbi to claim this 8-yrs. old was killed solely because New York pass SSM is outrageous.

Brian Brown about to have a Stroke.
Via NOM Blog,
"We've already met the first victims of this new gay marriage regime. Town clerks, charged with a duty to issue and record marriage licenses, are faced with a stark choice: give up stable employment in the midst of a troubled job market, or give up their religious convictions about marriage. Two clerks have already resigned; others have been warned that failure to comply with the new law could land them in jail. Who will the next victims be? A wedding photographer or owner of a reception hall? Parents of public school children who object to curriculum changes this fall? How long before the new law impacts you and your family? The answer from Albany is clear: We couldn't care less."
However David, makes a great point, Please Read Brian and get back on your meds ASAP,
"Town clerks, charged with a duty to issue and record marriage licenses...""Issue and record marriage licenses." So basically they're a notary that works for the city. A town clerk is not a religious position. They issue marriage licenses to non-religious straight couples every single day. They have a duty to provide service to ALL citizens of the town they work in -- including gay people who help pay their salary. If they can't do the job they were hired to do, they should look for a job in the religious sector.
NOM must face the facts that they are losing this battle, AT this point Brian and Maggie is just trying to protect their paychecks..

Other ways to raise money
In the Press release below, NOM Claims they will raise $2 million dollars to reverse Same-Sex Marriage in NY. I wonder since NC will be taking up this issue in the fall, I wonder just how much money our local bigoted citizens will be giving to groups like these. While I bet some of these same people are same as those whom have been bitching and crying about budget cuts in Education and few other areas in the budget.
If NOW can raise 2 million plus to reverse something so damn stupid, why can’t North Carolinians do the same to help protect our Schools and teachers???? I mean I didn’t have a problem paying 1 cent more in taxes for education issues. Have you really checked you grocery receipt lately, 2% on food and 6.25% on other items and another 6.25% and yet another group of of items. Well, that was on my last receipt.
While the NCGA and Governor Perdue was deciding what items to cut and if there was going to be any new taxes, I feel they over look one area. They love to raise taxes on cigarettes, why not on Alcoholic drinks, $1 tax on 6pks, $1.50 tax on 12pks and $2 tax on suitcases of beer, a wine tax of $2 dollars a bottle, and $3 tax on hard liquor (no matter the size).
But there is a down side to this, just like the cigarette tax, more people are not smoking, which means lower cigarette taxes are being collected, yet, the sale of Alcohol just keeps going up, doesn’t it. So let tax Alcohol to death, that way less people will become Alcoholics, which will save lives, and money on alcohol-related health cost.. (higher the cost of boozes will lower a lot of NC social problem and health care cost too)
via the Heraldsun.com
Nothing seemed immune -- nothing, that is, except the tax on alcohol. Readily embracing taxes that negatively impacted all North Carolinians, including taxes on income, utilities, entertainment, sales, gasoline, even tobacco, they stoutly resisted increasing taxation on alcohol. The budgetary debate outcome confirms the extraordinary influence the malt beverage industry exerts over too many legislators.
Arguably no legal product imposes a greater financial cost or societal harm than alcohol. Health care, violent crime, law enforcement, social welfare, broken families, workplace productivity and premature death or injury are just a few of alcohol's associated harms. In addition, alcohol, a regulated product, can only be sold with a state license.
Representing 88.8 percent of alcohol sales in North Carolina, the malt beverage tax was last increased 40 years ago. While legislators have occasionally increased the tax on distilled spirits (7 percent of overall sales) and wine (4.2 percent of sales), the Very Special Interest malt beverage industry seems bulletproof.
North Carolina annually recovers $211 million in alcohol taxes -- covering only a small fraction of the harmful financial consequences associated with alcohol misuse. Underage drinking alone costs our state $1.4 billion in health care, crime and other costs, while our Institute of Medicine finds alcohol costs our state economy approximately $12.4 billion.

Brian and Greg Quinlan on LGBT folks, whom are going after Mr. Bachmann
The following was completely taken from NOM Website, word for word..
We've been following with concern the organized efforts by gay activists to demonize Michele Bachmann's husband.
Greg Quinlan, President of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays and Executive Director of Equality and Justice For All comes to Mr. Bachmann's defense -- and to the defense of others who are not given a voice:
Why have gay activists instigated media attention over ex-gays and the husband of Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann?
Apparently, Mr. Bachmann, who has a PhD in clinical psychology, operates several counseling centers which also offer services to homosexual clients seeking to overcome unwanted same-sex attractions. But because even one ex-gay proves that homosexual behavior is not innate or immutable, the gay lobby's fear of their former members results in false claims and attacks aimed at preventing homosexuals from exercising their right to self-determination. They cannot bear to have even one homosexual leave homosexuality, hence their outrage at Dr. Bachmann.
I know because I am ex-gay myself. I suffer more harassment as a former homosexual than I ever did as an out and proud homosexual.
The ex-gay community includes thousands of former homosexuals like myself who benefited from counseling. We did not choose our homosexual feelings, but we did exercise our right to seek help to change those feelings. As a registered nurse, I saw hundreds of gay men die of AIDS before I finally left the gay lifestyle.
Contrary to the myths being generated by outraged homosexuals, counseling for unwanted same-sex attractions is not prohibited by any medical association. Unhappy homosexuals are not children in need of parental permission and can freely choose their own therapeutic treatment just like anyone else.
The Bachmann incident demonstrates that as homosexuals gain more civil rights, heterosexuals are losing theirs. Because gays are a wealthy and politically powerful minority, they claim access to media attention, political power and corporate influence that middle America does not have. –PFOX
First off one can not change who they truly are. Quinlan claims he has like so many other ex-gays. Yet, many of those ex-gays are gay once more. However those that are still claiming to be ex-gay, I bet if you search their homes (fully) and computers I bet you will find their hidden porn… Many of these ex-gays still watch men on the streets as well, many I bet still visit the adult bookstores backrooms, and the parks…
Now NOM is a complete total different story, they are in this for the money and money only.. $$$$$$$$$$$$$ millions and millions of dollars come in and go out of their coffers. Most accounted for, but I bet a lot isn’t..
though I not a big fan of TWO, read here to read more about Quinlan
