WTF: Flags on Sticks are more Dangerous than Guns..
What are they smoke or drinking at the Capital in Virginia??
From ThinkProgress.org,
What is the bigger risk inside a state capitol building: openly carrying an American flag or an assault rifle? In Virginia, capitol visitors can not bring American flags and signs affixed to sticks, because capitol security considers sticks a public threat. Firearms, however, are allowed.
NOM is calling for Impeachment!!! No really they are

Mark Herring hope to Protect Va’s Women’s Health with new Legislation
Tomorrow, I'm presenting legislation to protect women's health. My bill will undo what Ken Cuccinelli's done to restrict access to healthcare for Virginia women.
I need your help on this. Right now, speak out and show that Virginians support women's health. We need to make clear that we support a woman's right to choose. We have to make it known that we reject extremist policies that endanger women.
In less than 24 hours, I'll be in the Capitol presenting this bill to my colleagues. Telling them I have you on my side will go a long way to helping fight back against Cuccinelli.
I need them to see the public is on the side of women. Help me do that.
Sign my petition to end the extremist attacks. We need Virginians to come together and be heard to get this done.
Thanks,
Mark Herring

VA Judge Says No to Perry
Rick Perry keeps trying—and failing—to get his name on Virginia's primary ballot.
Following the reasoning of the federal judge who rejected Perry's request last week, a three-judge panel of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond said Perry "had every opportunity to challenge the various Virginia ballot requirements at a time when the challenge would not have created the disruption that this last-minute lawsuit has."
As usual Perry already thinks he is above the law..

Original Article

By Tracy Sears
A former Virginia State Police captain will not serve jail time for the molestation of his former step-daughter.
On Tuesday morning, Edward Hope stood stoically before a Brunswick County judge and pleaded guilty to one felony count of aggravated sexual battery against a child under the under of 13.
The guilty plea was a part of a plea agreement with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The judge sentenced Hope to 20 years in the state penitentiary, but suspended the entire sentence. Instead, Hope will be on supervised probation for two years and be forced to register as a sex offender.
Proof that if you are a Cop, DA, Judge in VA and you commit a SEx Crime you will get off very easy…

Virginians have lost what Minds they left..
Virginia Tech being Sued for some wack out asshole who decided to shoot up the campus, One would think the want to keep guns off of the campus, well, most folks who have a brain do. However a small group of back-water assholes think differently.
Members of the Virginia Citizens Defense League will visit ODU's Kaufman Mall on the afternoon of Nov. 1 to lobby for weapons policies that leave "the decision to carry or not to carry and how to carry up to the individual," according to an email alert from the group Monday. The ODU protest, organized with a college Republican group, is part of a broader VCDL push to oppose policies that prohibit holders of concealed-weapon permits from bringing their weapons into campus buildings. The gun rights group is scheduling similar protests on college campuses around Virginia.
After all Guns on campus. What could go wrong?

What the Hell is Eric Cantor Problem
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) to New York Magazine:
In early January, at a closed-door retreat for the GOP caucus in Baltimore, Cantor gave a speech trying to reframe the debt ceiling as "a leverage moment" over Obama. "I made the point that, look, this is an opportunity for us because we are in essence a blocking minority in Washington," he told me.House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) at a Capitol Hill news conference:
"I think at this point Washington has become so dysfunctional that we've got to start focusing on the incremental progress we can make," Cantor said.

Virginia: Bob McDonnell Issues Statement Praising Worker While His Party's Policies Screw Them
See if you can read Gov. McDonnell's Labor Day statement without getting sick to your stomach.
Tomorrow, the Commonwealth and the Country will celebrate the backbone of this nation, the American worker. In the midst of one of the toughest economies we have ever experienced, we will pay tribute to the men and women who have built this nation. We will do this knowing how much work there is to do before there will be good work for all of our citizens. The economic circumstances surrounding us are well known. Unemployment remains far too high. Uncertainty remains present in far too many homes. Too many Virginians and Americans who are anxious and ready to work simply cannot find the simple opportunity to do so. That is a tragedy. Resolving this situation by growing our economy and freeing the private sector to create good paying new jobs is the duty of our day. Now is the time that we must come together to turn this economy around. It's time for a collective effort to create the opportunities our citizens need and deserve. As we pause tomorrow to celebrate the goodness and nobility of work, let's also resolve to join together in the years ahead to ensure that good work will continue to be available for all who seek it. I wish all Virginians a wonderful and relaxing Labor Day Holiday.

Cantor, Hayworth holding Help hostage for more budget cuts.
Last week, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) shockingly demanded that Congress should not approve emergency aid to states battered by Hurricane Irene unless it makes offsetting budget cuts elsewhere first. Several other congressional Republicans have made the same demand since then.
Now, Rep. Nan Hayworth (R-NY) has joined this chorus of disaster aid hostage takers. Hayworth, who represents a portion of New York that the hurricane hit, said Congress has to have budget cuts before it allocates more disaster aid because the “challenges we face with the national budget have not changed,” and likened it to a family skipping a vacation:
Only days after a record-setting storm destroyed her district, Rep. Nan Hayworth and her House colleagues threatened to withhold disaster money if lawmakers don’t cut additional spending from the federal budget. “We’re facing a natural disaster in the middle of an economic disaster,” Hayworth said Wednesday. “Certainly, the challenges we face with the national budget have not changed.”
Hayworth, R-Mount Kisco, said she would only vote to replenish the federal disaster fund if new spending was offset by budget cuts. She said those cuts should come from “non-defense discretionary spending.” Hayworth likened her position to a family skipping vacation if it was overwhelmed by bills. “We have to control spending,” she said. “There’s no question about it.”
How nice, the Rich, white Republicans holding help hostage from their constituents, in order to force more budget cuts… isn’t this a form of treason?
Both Govs. Bob McDonnell (R-VA) and Chris Christie (R-NJ) have called on their fellow Republicans to immediately deliver disaster aid and put aside hostage taking about complimentary budget cuts.
I, a course blame the Tea-baggers 100%, this very racist group of Older white American who are piss that the we the people elected our first African-
American to the office of President. This as piss them off, so to get back they are attacking their very own country. Tea-Party = Traitors, Period.
If these self righteous douche bags want to cut the budget, then they all should take a 25% pay cut and pay for their own health care. That’s start in the right direction.
So just who is this new Douchebagoftheday,
Hayworth challenged Democratic incumbent John Hall in the 2010 election. She initially faced a difficult primary from state Assemblyman Greg Ball, but he dropped out of the race. She ran on the Republican, Conservative, and Independence Party ballot lines. She was endorsed by former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.
She is a member of the GOP Young Guns and GOP's Republican Main Street Partnership. In the Republican primary, she won with 70% of the vote. She is also a member of the conservative Republican Study Committee.

Virginia Board of Juvenile Justice Bans Anti-Gay Discrimination
Equality Virginia, a gay rights group, touted a national study Wednesday estimating that 8 percent of boys and 23 percent of girls in juvenile detention identify their sexuality as other than heterosexual.
The Department of Juvenile Justice operates the five facilities as well as a diagnostic facility, and the Board of Juvenile Justice sets broad policy for the agency.
James Parrish, Equality Virginia’s executive director, said Cuccinelli (R) and McDonnell “appear, once again, to have put their brand of perceived political correctness above the safety of our children.”
“Our children need and deserve protection against discrimination and harassment, especially when they are held in state custody with no avenue of escape or safe harbor from abuse,” he said.
Cuccinelli isn’t happy at all, since he thinks he is a GOD in Virginia..
The Virginia Board of Juvenile Justice voted this week to ban anti-gay discrimination despite state attorney general Ken Cuccinelli issuing a strong opinion against such a move.
Pressure from Cuccinelli did however lead to the Virginia Board of Social Security abandoning an LGBT-inclusive non discrimination policy earlier this year. You can read more on that here.
