Yesterday, Governor Perdue vetoed a state budget that would damage the investments we've made as a state in our children, youth, and their families. We applaud her for taking this courageous action and standing up for NC!
But the NC House and Senate are standing by to override her veto and implement the budget without the Governor's consent. The vote to override will likely happen tomorrow (Tuesday, June 14).
TAKE ACTION! Call these five legislators and urge them to vote AGAINST a veto override:
