thom goolsbySen. Thom Goolsby (R-New Hanover County) said it was "a wonderful day in North Carolina," because the state has a balanced budget that won't increase spending.
"Folks need to know that spending in North Carolina has literally gone up over 80 percent in the last 12 years. That's crazy, unsustainable, and it's finally been stopped," Goolsby said.
Yes its always a wonder day when you clause thousands to lose their job. For your party sick ideology.
"Well, she's been overridden," Goolsby said. "You cannot tax people into prosperity no matter how much she might yell that it can be done. And we finally stopped her."
It is wrong to keep taxing the poor and senior citizens on fix incomes, while passing out tax breaks for the mega rich and corporations..
