"President Obama is extremely wealthy. He and his wife have been wealthy for a number of years, and so I think that's really the issue. President Obama is wealthy, what do, or -- what does he understand about the common man right now? And I think what people care about is not hating someone for what their assets are -- the American people don't hate President Obama because he's a very wealthy individual. What they care about is how their lives are, would their lives be better? And I think it's very clear under the Romney-Ryan ticket the average Americans' lives will be much better, they'll have a lot more money to spend in the way that they want, and they'll also have a much more secure future for their children. That's what the American people want, and that's what we'll offer with this new Romney-Ryan ticket." - Michele Bachmann, speaking to USA Today.

Ann Romney just a ‘corporate wife’
This is Shock, even for Fox News,
Fox News political analyst Juan Williams shocked his fellow panelists during Tuesday night’s Republican National Convention when he went off script and said that Ann Romney was just a “corporate wife” whose husband takes care of her.
then again this also piss them off too,
Earlier this year, similar comments made by Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen, that Ann Romney had “never worked a day in her life,” were met with outrage at Fox News.
Williams also had this to say,
“It looks like a woman whose husband takes care of her and she’s been very lucky and blessed in this life,” Williams observed. “She’s not speaking, I think, for the tremendous number of single women in this country or married women or separated — she did not convince me that, ‘You know what? I understand the struggles of American women in general.”
Which didn’t make Megyn Kelly happy at all.
Ann Romney didn’t even take care of her own kids, nannies and maids other people she paid did. Yet she knows she has it good, and she not going to rock her boat.
Here's what Rosen said, exactly, about Mitt's reliance on Ann's "expertise":
Guess what? His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She's never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing.
Rosen comments on twitter and Ann’s too,
Rosen tweeted, "I've nothing against @AnnRomney. I just don't want Mitt using her as an expert on women struggling $ to support their family. She isn't." And she also spoke at Ann directly, "@AnnDRomney Please know, I admire you. But your husband shouldn't say you are his expert on women and the economy." Ann, of course, did not reply,
So just how can Ann Romney who never work a job in her life be an expect on women who are struggling to support their families. Cause you know damn well she had hired help to deal with those boys..

CHARLOTTE - The North Carolina State Conference of the NAACP is hosting a "Clergy, Faith and Justice Prayer Breakfast" on Labor Day, September 3, 2012 in Charlotte, NC at 7:00 AM. The breakfast coincides but does not affiliate with the Democratic National Convention, where thousands will arrive in North Carolina's largest city in the midst of the most important election of this generation. There will be media availability for principle speakers at the breakfast.
Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, president of the NC NAACP, Mr. Hilary O. Shelton, NAACP Washington Bureau Director and Senior Vice President for Advocacy, Rev. Kojo Nantambu, Religious and Education Advocacy Director for the NC NAACP and other faith leaders and activists will hold a discussion on the moral issues that shape and frame this year's election: voting rights, education equality, economic justice, labor rights, access to quality health care and racial disparities in the criminal justice system. The breakfast will take place at Greater Galilee Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Robert E. Lee McGowens, Sr.
"Forty-nine years ago today, at the March on Washington, a diverse, progressive and committed group of Americans put before the nation a moral agenda to address voting rights, civil rights, educational equality, jobs and labor rights," said Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, president of the North Carolina NAACP. "Forty-nine years later, as we see a constant barrage of attacks against voting rights, widening economic injustice and poverty, challenges to health care, and attacks on public education along with continuing disparities in the criminal justice system, we must again keep a strong moral agenda rooted in love and justice before the nation and both political parties."
A news conference announcing the prayer breakfast will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 E. Fourth Street (corner of Fourth and Davidson Streets) in downtown Charlotte. Rev. Mitt Romney: You Didn't Build That — You Destroyed It
Mitt Romney's reinvention convention is starting with the theme "We Built It." Mitt Romney will try to sell himself to the American people as a "Mr. Fix It" who knows how to turn a business around. Of course, once you examine his record, it's clear Mitt Romney knows less about turning businesses around and more about running them into the ground.
Mitt Romney made millions of dollars bankrupting companies, shuttering factories, offshoring jobs and putting profits before people. The theme of the Republican National Convention paints a rosy picture, but the theme of Mitt Romney's time as a corporate raider is less flattering. Mitt Romney didn't build that -- he destroyed it.

Paul Ryan thinks Rape is just another way for women to get pregnant
Douchebagoftheday, AZ. Gov. Jan Brewer
Yes thanks to the Crept keeper’s wife, all women in AZ are now 2 week Pregnant before Conception,
In Arizona, women are now legally pregnant two weeks before conception, according to a new law, the Orwellianly-named, “Women’s Health and Safety Act,” signed yesterday by Republican Governor Jan Brewer. The scientifically, medically, ethically, and intellectually dishonest legislation is designed to reduce the amount of time a woman is allowed to have a legal abortion, and is one of the most draconian bills to become law in America.
What the hell is the Cow smoking or taking.. is there something in the water there in AZ that make people become flat out stupid??
“Planned Parenthood of Arizona lobbyist Michelle Steinberg called the law the country’s ‘most extreme piece of anti-abortion legislation’.” the Tucson Citizen reported:
She said the law defines pregnancy in a way that bans abortion two weeks before the other seven states with similar laws, because it calculates gestational age starting with the first day of the last menstrual period rather than the date of conception.

St. Joseph AME Church
2521 Fayetteville Street, Durham, NC 27707
DURHAM - The North Carolina State Conference of the NAACP kicks off a historic weekend-long Mass Voter Registration Campaign with a Mass Meeting Friday evening, August 24, 2012, 7:00 pm at St. Joseph AME Church in Durham, NC. Adult, Youth and College NAACP units in every corner of the state will be conducting simultaneous voter registration drives over the weekend. Keynote speakers will include Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, President of the NC NAACP and long-time civil rights activist Dr. Amos Brown. The program will begin with a news conference where national, state and local faith and civil rights leaders will answer questions about the Need to Vote in this historic election.
"Our theme is, 'If We Ever Needed to Vote...We Sure Need to Vote Now,'" says Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, president of the NC NAACP, National NAACP Board Member and Chair of the National NAACP Political Action Committee. "The mass meeting and voter registration campaign honors the 49th Anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington. Most of the issues that prompted the moral call for the 1963 march are still pressing. Our voting rights are in jeopardy from right wing attacks. Economic justice, equal access to quality education, healthcare, and jobs are still very much part of the moral call for civic engagement today. We honor the blood, sweat and tears of our forebears by mobilizing our votes like never before."
The Durham Mass Meeting will kick off the "Mass Voter Registration Campaign" across the state of North Carolina on Saturday and Sunday, August 25 and 26th. Local NAACP branch members, partners and supporters will canvas neighborhoods, shopping centers, churches, cafes, barbershops, nightclubs and other places, registering as many North Carolinians to vote as possible. This grassroots campaign is a continuation of the yearlong efforts of the NC NAACP to organize, register and mobilize voters.
Dr. Amos Brown, a long-term civil rights activist will participate in the Durham News Conference and Mass Meeting. Dr. Brown is the former Chair of the National NAACP Religious Affairs Committee. He was a student of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, Medgar Evers, Benjamin Mays, Samuel Williams and J. Pious Barbour, to name a few.

Philip Van Cleave, the organizer of the protest and President of Virginia Citizens Defense League, compared the library’s gun “discrimination” to racially discriminating against African-Americans:
“What if they had said “We don’t allow African-Americans, except if allowed by law. Would that be okay? I don’t think so… [The rule] implies that no one is allowed to protect themselves on the property.”

Mitt Romney acting like a damn baby,
Four minutes into his interview with CBS's Gayle King and Anthony Mason, Mitt Romney finally admitted what's really pissing him off about the 2012 campaign:
The president's campaign has put out a campaign that's talking about me and attacking me. I think it's just demeaning to the nature of the process, particularly when we face the kinds of challenges we face.
