Via the News n Observer,
Finally some good reporting on the actions on Jones St.
Tillis has 14 staff members, out of those three have the same job. Does Tillis really need three Policy Advisers? Get rid of two and the state could hire three new teachers or four Teachers aids.
He claims his staff payroll was lower than the last speaker of the house, Tillis payroll cost the state $1,065,126.12, while Hackney payroll cost the state $969,874.36, so Tillis payroll is almost $100,000 dollars more than Hackney.
However Hackney cut his payroll in his last year to $807,000.
So Tillis I guess you fail math in school, I guess that teacher didn’t care if you learn or not, She was only interested in her pay check and her retirement fund to care if you learn simply math or not.

This is Tillis Current payroll,
Tillis' staff as of June 7, 2011, total compensation.Of Course Tillis pay isn’t included, Why does he need all these people, better yet that goes for whole House, if each house member has about the same, that over $120,000,000, that not including senate, and others that work there. I think its time to trim the fat out of the House, and place the fat into Education..
