RALEIGH, N.C. --
Big cuts from the State to the Justice System have prosecutors and defense attorneys speaking out. They say with the cuts the system could fail.
“It is going to be victims who pay the price for that and you are going to have people who are guilty of crimes walking out the door, scot-free, because we have decided that the court system in North Carolina is not important. It doesn't matter and we are not going to fund it,” said Orange County District Attorney Jim Woodall.
Just what we need, our court and justice system is over max as it is,now they want to cut the budget. Well, NC Citizens lets hope you don’t broke the law, cause with the cuts you just may not get a fair trial or any form of balance justice at all.
We all know why they are doing it, it’s the poor who get these public defenders and it them who will be the true victims of these budget cuts..
So many bills attacking the poor and lower middle class, why does the NCGOP hate these citizens so much..
