ORANGE COUNTY INVITES PUBLIC TO SUPPORT “RIDE TO PROVIDE” EVENT

ORANGE COUNTY, NC (May 21, 2013)—The Orange County Department of Social Services is inviting the public to support or participate in the “Ride to Provide” event being hosted by the Renegade Motorcycle Outlet in preparation for the County’s annual Toy Chest event.

The Renegade Motorcycle Outlet is coordinating the “Ride to Provide” event, which benefits Toys-for-Tots. The ride will take place on Saturday, June 8. Registration is $20/biker and will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The Renegade Motorcycle Outlet is located at 120 U.S. Highway 70 East in Hillsborough.

The 80 mile ride will begin promptly at 10:15 a.m. The bikers will end the ride at the Social Services office located at Hillsborough Commons on Mayo Street in Hillsborough.

About the Toy Chest

The Toy Chest is hosted annually by the Orange County Department of Social Services.

The event benefits low income families, allowing them to provide toys for their children during the Christmas holiday.
