It's time to take action against the General Assembly's war on voting. Please join our monthly meeting of Twin County Democracy on Wednesday May 8th, 6:00 -- 7:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 516 North Church Street, Rocky Mount, 27804. It's time to make some calls!
We'll meet briefly and then dive right into the phonebanking. I'll provide the scripts, the phone lists, and a few prepaid cell phones. You provide your time and your voice. And together we can take action to protect voting rights because voters should choose their elected officials, not the other way around.
You may have seen the recent news coverage of folks being arrested while protesting attacks on voting rights including Democracy NC's own Organizing Director Adam Sotak. Will you have their backs? Will you make some calls?
