For using a very old story to get a bill pass..

Shame on you,

Today on the House floor, Rep. Alma Adams, a Guilford County Democrat, rebutted that speech by way of a letter.

She said that the story took place in Georgia, not North Carolina, and that the abortion provider in question was not Planned Parenthood.

"I think it is extremely unfortunate that Rep. McElraft would use a story that happened in another state over a decade ago to conclude that changes must be made in North Carolina in 2011," Adams wrote.
