1) Marcellus Andrews’ Death will not be investigated as a Hate Crime.

Officials from One Iowa and Iowa Safe Schools denounced the homicide Tuesday as an apparent hate crime. The groups advocate acceptance for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender individuals and work against bullying and hate speech.
“The hurtful rhetoric used was the language of hate,” said Troy Price, executive director of One Iowa. “That kind of derogatory language does not have a place in our state.”
However, authorities don't believe the killing was a hate crime, said Lt. Michael McNamee, Waterloo police spokesman.
“We've done multiple interviews and we have heard those allegations, but this was not because of his persuasion or the perception of his persuasion,” McNamee said. “These were all people who knew each other, and there was some bad blood between the two parties involved.”

2) Focus on the Family Claims if Prop * trial is Televised Christians will be Murdered..

Many pastors and other Prop. 8 supporters found themselves targeted by radical homosexuals during the campaign and afterward, prompting many to hire personal security guards in the wake of credible death threats. “Just because the trial’s over doesn’t mean that threat isn’t still there,” said CitizenLink Judicial Issues Analyst Bruce Hausknecht. “Judge Walker himself promised the parties to the lawsuit that only he, Walker, would ever look at the video, and only during his deliberations. That’s obviously being violated just by the request. “Why is this judge even considering this request, given that both the trial judge and the Supreme Court have already spoken?”

3) MN Tea Party Congressman Chip Cravaak was so busy bashing “Big Government and Unions, that he wasn’t to busy to cash his disability checks from his Union Job, or received his free medical care, as a military Veteran..

4) When Obama announced the stimulus package, to get the economy moving, Bachmann was vociferously vocal about it, criticizing Obama, saying it wouldn't work, calling it gay and, therefore, of Satan, you know, her usual rhetoric.

The serial liar Michele Bachmann not only repeatedly sought stimulus funds from federal agencies, but justified her rabid requests by claiming that the funds would create jobs and strengthen the economy.

And yet, publicly Bachmann denounced the stimulus as an act of "overspending" and "fantasy economics" that hurt jobs.

Of course, when asked by her usual two-faced approach, Bachmann replied; "I voted against the stimulus and I was very public against the stimulus. After the stimulus was passed and the money was there, why should my constituents or anyone else be disadvantaged?"

5) Tony Perkins: Help! I'm Being Oppressed!

"They will not be satisfied until those who hold to a traditional, natural view of marriage are completely silenced. They are so intent on accomplishing this that anyone and everyone who would challenge them must be silenced. And we are seeing this in the media, and now we’re seeing this into the marketplace. It’s an effort to stigmatize, to marginalize and ultimately to cause people to self-censor. I don’t think you can look at homosexuality and what is taking place without examining the spiritual dynamics here. This is essentially man shaking his fist in the face of God and saying I don’t need you, that we will do it our way. It is the height of humanism."

6) Steve Jobs resigned today as CEO of Apple, spawning rumors that his health was once again declining. The company's board of directors announced that COO Tim Cook (left) will take the position. You may recall that Cook was outed in January by the gossip site Gawker.
