The North Carolina House of Representatives could vote as early as Monday to override Gov. Bev Perdue’s veto of H.B.854, the “Women Know Nothing” act. As you know, if her veto is not sustained, this dangerous legislation would become law, making it even more difficult to access abortion services in our state.
Send a message to your representative today to protect choice in North Carolina!
Already sent a message and want to do more? Call Rep. Jean Farmer-Butterfield (919) 733-5898 and leave a message asking him or her to sustain Gov. Perdue’s veto of H.B. 854.
The state of choice in North Carolina is more precarious than ever, and we thank you in advance for helping us keep this extreme bill from becoming law!
In solidarity,
Hillary Waugh Bruce
