A Rally to Support Veto Overrides of Key Free Market Job Creation Bills

I hope you will sign up today for an important jobs rally in front of the General Assembly building on Tuesday, July 26. We need to urge legislators in the State House to override the Governors' vetoes of bi-partisan, job-creation bills.

North Carolina needs a bright new day when it comes to North Carolina jobs. With near double digit unemployment, The North Carolina General Assembly with strong bi-partisan efforts passed key free market job creation bills. Unfortunately, Governor Perdue vetoed some of these key bills including:

• SB 781, Regulatory Reform Act:

It clarifies and simplifies some of North Carolina's confusing and outdated regulations, making it easier for citizens and businesses to attain permits and rely on more predictable guidelines. State agencies have added or changed more than 15,000 rules over the past decade, many of which create uncertainty in the private sector and impede job creation.

YES LET MAKE SURE WE DESTORY OUR COAST, WHICH BRING IN MILLIONS EACH SUMMER, WITH A NICE BIG OIL SPILL, LET TOXIFY OUR GROUND WATER WITH FRACKING, JOB WILL BE CREATED TO CLEAN UP THESE CATASTROPHES..

• SB 709, Energy Jobs Act:

The Energy Jobs Act directed the governor to begin negotiating a tri-state pact with the governors of Virginia and South Carolina to encourage President Obama's administration to allow offshore energy exploration.

• SB 33, Medical Malpractice Reform:

SB 33 expands access to care and will attract scores of new medical jobs. Under the current system, North Carolina doctors are forced to administer expensive and unnecessary tests and procedures. The high cost of that defensive medicine is then passed on to consumers in the form of higher insurance costs and to taxpayers in the form of costlier taxpayer-funded medical programs for the poor.

SURE WHY NOT, LET PROTECT THE DOCTORS WHO FALSE DIAGNOSIS, WHO THEN DIES BECAUSE THESE DOCTORS ONLY WANT TO MAKE MONEY.. THIS IS EVERY DOCTORS GOAL IS TO BE RICH, PERIOD.

• SB 532, Employment Security Commission Jobs Reform:

SB 532 makes necessary changes to one of the state's most dysfunctional agencies.

All of these bills were supported with votes from Republicans and Democrats.

AFP will be rallying to call on lawmakers to put politics aside and come together to re-pass these and other important key jobs bills blocked by the Governor.

Several of these key jobs-bill override votes could be voted on Tuesday afternoon along with various other types of bills. (Voter phone ID bill, NCAE Dues Bill, etc.)

WE ALL KNOW THAT VOTER ID AND THE NCAE BILL DOESN’T GET NOT ONE DAMN JOB, I THINK THESE FOLKS ARE OFF THEIR MED’S

AFPNC is apart of the Koch Brothers group, their true goal is to be protect Big Oil, the Rich and the GOP, Period.. They don’t care about anything but those goals.

That’s a oil rig tower, yet these are the same folks that the will/am bitching about gas prices, which effects the cost of food, and other items.. But since most of very rich high 6 figures, I guess they really don’t care..
