California No Longer Does Big Business with Biased Companies
The city-by-city struggle that California equality advocates engaged in for 15 years to keep governments from doing business with firms that practice anti-gay discrimination was swept up to victory on Sept. 6, when Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill that makes it illegal for the state to award contracts of more than $100,000 to such companies. Full story here!

Unfortunately NC won’t be one of those states anytime soon.. Well, not with the current NCGA..
