Triangle Area Activists and Allies,
Hope everyone had a happy and safe Labor Day Weekend. As promised, we are still keeping the heat on Thom Tillis. The General Assembly will be back in session next week until Wednesday, and we wanted to show Tillis how thankful we are for his leadership and policies. So, we are staging an ironic awards show for Tillis on the morning of Wed., 9/14 in front of the legislature. We also have a life-size cutout of Tillis who is eager to receive awards for rolling back decades of progress in social and economic justice. We have about 6 other organizations that will present him special awards for "all he has done." Come out and join us for this ironic awards show and get your picture taken with Thom too! Please get back to me if you are able and willing to join us next Wednesday. The details are below:
